Advancing expertise through NAAC training

Members of the William Morfoot Ltd team recently attended the NAAC land drainage training course at The Allerton Project in Leicestershire.

The course strengthened the team’s technical understanding of modern drainage practices and reinforced the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable drainage solutions. Training covered soil structure and water movement through soil, alongside practical soil assessment techniques to support effective drainage design.

Delegates also explored both agricultural and sports-turf drainage design, gaining insight into the differing technical requirements of each sector. The environmental benefits of well-designed drainage systems were discussed, particularly their role in supporting soil health and long-term land management.

Further sessions focused on site surveying, the use of GPS in drainage planning, and an overview of modern drainage machinery and techniques.

Attendance on the NAAC training course helps ensure the William Morfoot Ltd team remains aligned with current best practice, enabling the business to continue delivering informed, reliable drainage solutions for clients.
