New Environmental Projects Manager position created
To kick start the new year, we are excited to announce the appointment of Chris Bielby in the position of Environmental Projects Manager within our business. This brand new position has been created to help our business grow and develop further within the environmental sector – where demand for our services has grown significantly over recent years.
With a proven track record in wetland management in highly protected landscapes such as the Broads and the Norfolk Coast, Chris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our environmental division. Chris is a qualified ecologist who has previously worked at Harrison Group Environmental, Natural England and the National Trust. His roles have seen him responsible for looking after unique and sensitive environments including Blakeney Point and The Broads. His prior role saw him deliver wetland creation projects and his experience within this specialist sector means he is well placed to take on the challenges that this role presents going forward.
Upon starting with the company, Chris said; “I am extremely excited to get underway with William Morfoot Ltd. I am joining the business at a time when the spotlight is firmly on the environmental sector and there are a multitude of projects coming up in the world of environmental water management. William Morfoot Ltd is already a proven leading contractor in this field of expertise and I am confident my own specialist knowledge in working within protected landscapes will be a natural fit for the company’s much valued client base.”
Chris has started work with the company in January 2024 and is available to contact at any stage in relation to future environmental projects via his email – chris@williammorfoot.co.uk
