Langham Wetland Project in The Times Newspaper
The Langham Wetland Project which William Morfoot Ltd was involved in building has gained the attention of the National Press. The Times newspaper has recently visited the project which we were involved in constructing throughout late 2022 and early 2023.
The wetland is designed to improved water quality with a a number of new ‘cells’ planted up with specialist aquatic plants – which strip out excess phosphate contained in the water exiting the adjoining water treatment plant – owned by Anglian Water.
William Morfoot Ltd has been successfully delivered multiple projects geared around improving water quality over many years. Director Justin Morfoot commented; “We are exceptionally proud to be involved in delivering this project and we are delighted to see the this pioneering work getting the recognition it so rightly deserves as the water industry begins to take further steps to improve water quality existing it’s treatment facilities. This is especially important in areas where there is a presence of the increasingly vulnerable chalk river systems – such as the situation in Norfolk.”
