2024 draws to a close

As we head into the festive period at the end of 2024, our land drainage teams out on the ground have remained hard at work right the way through December completing an exceptionally busy year for us in Agricultural Land Drainage.  We have delivered schemes on farms in counties across the UK ranging from schemes of just a few acres to schemes totalling several hundred acres at a time.

Whilst the political climate has introduced some uncertainties to the countryside in the recent budget, the requirement to grow crops efficiently has remained an underlying foundation for the many farms that we work for.  With a myriad of data now available at farming’s fingertips, it has never been easier to see the results of Land Drainage investment – meaning that economic and commercial risk in crop production can to some extent be guarded against through ensuring the basics of planting into high quality soil structures is achieved.
